Yakubu Mambo to take charge of Ashantigold against Great Olympics

Assistant coach Yakubu Shariff Mambo is set to take charge of Ashantigold SC's opening game in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season against Great Olympics.

The Miners will host the Ghana Premier League returnees at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium as they eye a quick start to the season.

Ashgold and Brazilian gaffer Ricardo Da Rocha will not be in the dugout due to the lack of required license to be head coach of the club on Sunday, however he will be part of the team on the match day.

Coach Da Rocha will have to produce his license to lead the club as stipulated in the Club Licensing.

The former Ebusua Dwarfs took over from Norwegian Kjetil Zachariassen at the club after they won the Tier 2 of the Normalisation Committee Special Competition.
