Coach Yaw Acheampong has been appointed as coach of Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks on interim basis.

This appointment comes following the club owner Dr Papa Kwasi Nduom's decision relieve coach Kobinnah Amissah off his job temporary.
Amissah has been asked to step aside for their next two premier league games with Hearts of Oak and league leaders WAFA.

Coach Yaw Acheampong's appointment takes immediate effect and he will be in charge of their next two games.
The former Ashgold trainer Yaw Acheampong will be assisted by former Liberty Professionals assistant coach Felix Aboagye.
