Asante Kotoko general manager Opoku Nti says they are yet to take a decision on the “unaccepted” behavior of defender Samuel Kyere.

Kyere has alleged that, the club’s penultimate game with AshGold was fixed following their quest of helping the Obuasi based club escape relegation.

Opoku Nti has denied knowledge about this and stated they will take sanctions against the player.

“We will not accept the behavior of Samuel Kyere. We had a meeting with him yesterday and he told us he wants his contract to be terminated but we are yet to take a decision on behavior but with his contract issues, we told him to give us time,” he said on Nhyira FM

The performance of Kotoko has been very abysmal this season. Quizzed if the club can deliver next season, he said, “We couldn’t achieve our aims and after five matches played we were at the 16th position which was unpredictable but I am very optimistic Kotoko will bounce back next season. “

Kotoko will play arch rivals Hearts of Oak in a peace match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday September 21.
