Dutch forward of Ghanaian descent, Brian Brobbey was on target for Ajax when the team locked horns with Waalwijk in the Dutch Eredivisie.
The match between the two teams was played in September but had to be suspended in the dying minutes in the closing stages due to a medical situation involving the home team's goalkeeper, Etienne Vaessen.
At the time of the interruption, Ajax was leading 3-2.
Ajax took the lead in the 30th minute thanks to a strike from striker Brian Brobbey.
After his goal, the forward continued to work hard to ensure his team bagged all three points.
In the game, Steven Bergwijn and Steven Berghuis netted the two other goals for Ajax.
Meanwhile, Michiel Kramer and Yassin Oukili scored the consolation goals for Waalwijk before the match was suspended.
There were no goals today when the game resumed for players to finish the contest.
Brian Brobbey now has five goals and four assists after making 13 appearances in the Dutch Eredivisie for Ajax this season.
