Yusif Chibsah pleads with Otumfuo to make Kotoko's year-long transfer ban flexible

Former Ghana international, Yusif Chibsah has noted that Otumfuo's ban on player signing at Asante Kotoko should be made flexible to accommodate any unforeseen circumstances.

The owner and life patron of the Porcupine Warriors, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has barred the club from recruiting new players to the first team for the next year.

Sharing his thought on the decision, ex-Kotoko player Yussif Chibsah has raised concern as he cites that injuries could force the team to sign players at some point. In line with that, he is hoping the ban on player signing will be made flexible.

”Otumfuo’s directives of one year ban should be flexible to make room for unforeseen circumstances like injuries in as much as it will bring consistency", Alhassan Chibsah told on Oyerepa FM on Tuesday.

This is a view shared by the head coach for the Club Maxwell Konadu who says the technical team will run to Otumfuo to plead for permission to sign new players when the need arises.
