Zamalek confirm the capture of Ghanaian striker Ben Acheampong

Former Asante Kotoko striker Ben Acheampong has joined Zamalek from Egyptian Premier League side Dakhleya.

 

Ben Acheampong has scored ten times for Dakhleya in 26 games and will join the Egyptian giants as they continue in their quest for continental glory.

 

The players move was surrounded by controversy as FC Smouha say they have a release clause of $3 million dollars hunging on his move because they captured him from Dakhleya.

 

However Zamalek have indicated they legimately acquire the strikers signature.

 

Chancellor Murtaza Mansour thanked Dakhleya and Acheampong’s agent, Mr. Syed Nader.
