The attacker was a second-half substitute on that matchday and managed to impress by scoring his first goal for the club.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the 20-year-old says he is happy to have contributed to the win of his team to make the supporters of the club excited.

“It was our last home clash of the season that we wanted to win because of the fans. I am very happy that we were successful and that we brought them joy. I didn’t have much space at the goal in the sixteen, but I was able to turn the goal and score”, the striker said.

Zuberu Sharani added, "Before entering the field, the head coach stressed that I should push into the hex as often as possible and also said that I would definitely have positions. I would like to thank him for his good advice and I am confident that I will continue to develop under his guidance.

“It was a wonderful feeling to see the ball in the net. I have been waiting for this moment for a very long time and I want to experience it as many times as possible in the future. The goal is also very important for my self-confidence - that’s what I needed”.

The Ghanaian forward is on loan from Dreams FC and could earn a permanent move at the end of the season.
