Ghanaian forward Osei Barnes inspires Arouca to victory over Sporting Lisbon

Ghanaian youngster Osei Barnes scored for Portugese side Arouca FC in their 2-0 win over Sporting Lisbon B in the Portuguese.  

The Ghanaian attacker opened the scoring for the home side in the 24 minute Arouca before midfielder Nuno Miguel Prata Coelho made sure the three points is secured with a fine strike in the second half.

The victory means Arouca are on a good run of form as they secured their four victory in a row. The ywllow and Backs are chasing a return into the top tier division.

Arouca dominated the Portuguese giants, creating several chances with Osei Barnes at the heart of all the attack.

Barnes was taken off in the 90th minute while compatriot Ernest Ohemeng lasted 63 minutes for the victors.

The win extended Arouca's lead to the top of the league to 46 points, one ahead of Santa Clara who have a game in hand.
