Editor of Kotoko Express, Jerome Otchere has showered praises on newly crowned champions of the Ghana Premier League, Wa All Stars describing them as worthy winners.
The Wa based club defeated Aduana Stars by 2:1 at the Malik Jabir Stadium on Wednesday in the Match Day 29 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
Aduana Stars were eyeing to upset All Stars but their plans couldn’t work to perfection leaving them at the second position after 29 matches played with 48 points.
Speaking to Asemap Sports, Jerome said, “Wa All Stars are worthy winners because they have been able to defeat all the favorites like Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
“They have been able to maintain their momentum as a club and I love their character but for Aduana Stars, I feel they have risked their own chances and they shouldn’t blame the referee or the referee’s appointment committee.
“Kotoko played Aduana at Dormaa and the way they treated us, it was absolutely unacceptable so they should put it behind them and start preparing for next season.” he added.
