Karela United has defeated Inter Allies by two goals to one today on Match Week 3 of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

The two clubs locked horns in a Match Week 3 fixture of the Ghanaian top-flight to seek 3 points to better their respective positions on the standings of the division.

The home team started off with high pressing football and pushed their guests into their shelve as they searched for an opening goal. Their plan worked very well and resulted in a goal on the 5th minute courtesy a strike from Franklin Osei.

From there on, both teams created a lot of chances but failed to score as the home team went into the break with the lead.

Inter Allies came from the break revitalized and pushed for an equalizer to get back into the game. Their plan worked after just four minutes when they were awarded a penalty kick.

Poster boy Victorien Adebayor stepped up and converted the kick to restore parity for his side.

A pulsating encounter from there on saw Karela United scoring a late goal on the 93rd minute when Abega Fosu found the back of the net.
