2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers: Black Stars complete training at FNB Stadium ahead of South Africa encounter tomorrow

The Black Stars held their final training at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on Wednesday evening ahead of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against South Africa.

Ghana arrived in South Africa on Wednesday for the much-anticipated game on Thursday afternoon.

Players, technical staff and management members underwent the mandatory COVID-19 test before heading to FNB Stadium for training.

Charles Akonnor’s men need a draw to secure qualification with a game to spare.

But, should the Black Stars lose, they can redeem themselves against whipping boys, Sao Tome and Principe in Accra on Sunday.

Ghana have nine points – the same as Sudan and South Africa, but the Black Stars remain top of the group due to their better head-to-head record against the two countries.
