2021 Ghana Football Awards recap: Check out list of all winners on the glamourous night

It was all glamour and excitement at the Grand Arena inside the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday night when the Ghana Football Awards was held.

The ceremony did not only see footballers being honoured but clubs, officials, and legends of the game were also awarded.

At the end of the ceremony, Hearts of Oak emerged as the big winners scooping home three top awards.

Besides being name the Men’s Team of the Year at the 2021 Ghana Football Awards, head coach Samuel Boadu and talisman Ibrahim Salifu were also named ‘Men’s coach of the Year’ and ‘Home-Based Player of the Year’ respectively.

Meanwhile, Black Stars captain Andre Ayew also took home the ultimate prize, ‘Footballer of the Year’ while Asamoah Gyan was recognized as the ‘Player of the Decade.

Odartey Lamptey's Future Star Award: Abdul Fatawu Issahaku - Steadfast FC

Goalkeeper of the Year: Danlad Ibrahim - King Faisal FC

Women's Footballer of the Year: Ophelia Amponsah - Ampem Darkoa Ladies

Home Based Player of the Year: Ibrahim Salifu - Hearts of Oak

Player of the Decade: Asamoah Gyan

Best Ghanaian CEO: Nana Yaw Amponsah - Asante Kotoko

Footballer of the Year: Andre Ayew

Goal of the Year: Nasiru Moro - Legon Cities

Most Vibrant Club on Social Media: Accra Great Olympics

Best African International Award: Edouard Mendy - Chelsea/Senegal
