2021 Ghana Premier League: Legon Cities skipper Fatau Dauda backs teammates to work extra to beat Medeama

Legon Cities skipper Fatau Dauda has urged his teammates to work extra hard in order to stand a chance of beating Medeama SC on match day three of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

The Royals are yet to seal their first victory in the on-going season, having lost one and drawn one in their opening two games.

Legon Cities will host Medeama SC on Matchday 3 at the Accra Sports Stadium as they look to seal all three points at home.

"We need to work extra before we can beat Medeama. It’s possible," the Black Stars goalkeeper said ahead of the game.

"We know they’re a good side that’s why we need to work our socks off because it’s not going to be easy.

He added, "They also made several recruitments in the off-season so we have to play above ourselves to achieve our aim."

"We only have to work as a team and Insha Allah we’ll beat them."

The club has appointed Bashir Hayford as their new head coach after sacking of Bosnian trainer Goran Barjaktarevic.
