2022/23 Ghana Premier League: Dreams FC coach blames inexperienced attackers for draw against Hearts of Oak

Dreams FC coach, Abdul Karim Zito, expressed satisfaction with his team's performance in their goalless draw against Hearts of Oak in their Ghana Premier League match on Saturday in Dawu.

Despite missing out on a win, Zito praised his players for their fighting spirit throughout the game.

Zito acknowledged that some of his attackers were inexperienced and needed more game time to adjust to the league's demands, but expressed optimism that they will improve and come back stronger in their subsequent matches.

"I said from the beginning the objective is to win, but a draw against a tough opponent like Hearts of Oak is still a decent result," Zito said.

"My attackers were inexperienced but by the time they play more matches, it will be okay."

Dreams FC are currently in 11th place on the Ghana Premier League table with 31 points, while Hearts of Oak sit in fourth place with 39 points.
