Accra Lions held Aduana FC to a 1-1 draw at Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Sunday in week 14 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.

It means the Fire boys now lead the league with just a point against Hearts of Oak's 24.

The visitors (23 points) temporarily occupy the fifth spot as Asante Kotoko could overleap them if they win against Kotoku Royals this evening.

Abass Samari Salifu gave the visitors the lead in Dormaa with two minutes to the end of the first half for Lions to end the break with the advantage.

Paa Kwesi Fabin's lads came into the second period fighting for the equalizer and got it nine minutes after the hour mark.

Solomon Aboagye got the leveler for the hosts as they picked a point that ensured they are still top of the league log.

Aduana FC will travel to Dawu for their week 15 fixture against Dreams FC while Accra Lions will host Great Olympics in an Accra derby a day later.
