Legon Cities were unable to make the home advantage count after sharing the spoils with Tamale City on Wednesday.
Today, the Royals hosted the Ghana Premier League debutants in matchday 19 of the top-flight at the El-Wak stadium.
Prior to the game, Legon Cities had suffered defeats in their last two games in the domestic top-flight and were determined to return to winning ways on home turf but Tamale City proved to be a stronger opponent.
The home team shot into the lead through Kofi Kordzi, who scored in the 37th minute mark and had to go to recess with a goal advantage.
After the break, Tamale City never stopped fighting as they grab the equalizer through Sampson Eduku in the 49th minute.
Despite creating goal scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net with the game ending 1-1 on full time.
Legon Cities are 14th on the league table with 22 points whiles Tamale City still find themselves in the relegation drop.
The Tamale-based club occupies 17th position with 20 points after 19 matches into the campaign.
