The Ghana Premier League continues in mid-week with a bang of matches as Legon Cities face Tamale City in matchday 19.
The Royals will host the Ghana Premier League newcomers on Wednesday at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.
They will approach the game with the mindset of bouncing back to winning ways after a back-to-back defeat in the top-flight.
Maxwell Konadu’s side have been poor in their last five games in the league, winning just one, drawing one and losing three in the process.
Legon Cities are one place up from the relegation drop and will have to approach the encounter with all seriousness, knowing a win for them could push them further on the log.
They are 15th on the league log with 21 points after 18 matches into the domestic top-flight.
Meanwhile, Tamale City are traveling to the nation capital with the hope of beating Legon Cities to better their chances of surviving the drop at the end of the season.
Tamale City have not fared bad in their last three games, winning two and drawing one.
With two points separating the two, the Tamale outfit will hope to negotiate for points to surpass the Accra-based club on the log.
Hamza Mohammed’s side are 17th on the league log with 19 points after 18 games.
