2022/23 Ghana Premier League Week 19: Match Report – Aduana 0-0 King Faisal

League leaders Aduana Stars were held to a goalless draw by King Faisal in their match week 19 clash played at the Nana Agyeman I Park on Wednesday afternoon.

King Faisal's coach Jimmy Cobblah made four changes to the team that started their last game. Suraj Ibrahim and Benjamin Aseidu returned to the starting XI. Frimpong Boateng made his second start and fit again Godfred Asiamah also started.

The visitors got a penalty in the 35th minute, Samuel Adom Antwi stepped up and his kick was saved by Aduana's goalkeeper.

After halftime, Aduana Stars pushed more men forward to try and break the deadlock but King Faisal remained solid at the back.

The host continued to pile on the pressure with changes but their effort on goal did not find the back of the net.

Benjamin Aseidu had to be alert and save Zakaria Mumuni's goalbound strike in the 86th minute. The referee ended the game and the visitors take home a point.

Aduana Stars remains first with 36 points and King Faisal is 16th with 21 points.

Aduana Stars will take on FC Samartex in their next game while King Faisal will play Great Olympics.
