2022/23 Ghana Premier League week 22: Legon Cities 2-0 Aduana FC - Report

Legon Cities scored in either half to down leaders Aduana FC in match week 22 0f the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League on Monday afternoon at El-Wak Stadium in Accra.

Midfielder Michel Otou scored the brace to power his side to a first win in five league games while the table toppers have now lost twice in their last three games.

The win takes the Royals from second from bottom, 17th position, to 14th position with 26 points while the Fire boys are still top of the league with 39 points.

Otou opened the scoring early in the 8th minute to send his side into the break with the advantgae.

With 10 minutes to the end of th game, the midifielder held his nerves from the spot to double the advantage for Maxwell Konadu's men.

The hosts went on to claim the win over Paa Kwesi Fabin's charges.

Legon Cities will play as guests to Great Olympics in week 23 on Sunday while Aduana FC will welcome Real Tamale United to Dormaa two days prior.
