Medeama made their home advantage count after beating Bibiani Goldstars 1-0 in matchday 24 of the Ghana Premier League.
The two teams played the remaining 45 minutes in the second half on Thursday morning following a heavy downpour on Wednesday.
Defender Vincent Atinga scored to secure the three maximum points for the Yellow and Mauves at the Akoon Community Park.
Despite creating scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net in the first half.
After the break, Medeama opened the scoring in the 71st minute mark through Atinga which subsequently handed them victory at the end of the game.
The win sends Medeama to the third position on the league table with 40 points- just a point behind leaders Aduana Stars whiles Bibiani Gold Stars remain 6th on 34 points.
