Real Tamale United thrashed Bibiani Gold Stars 5-1 in their match week 26 game which was played at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The home side started the game very well and their shots on target were all blocked by the back four of Bibiani Gold Stars.
Umar Abdul Manaf's pass into the box of Bibiani Gold Stars was intercepted in the 15th minute. Other chances created by Real Tamale United did not produce any positive results.
In the 30th minute, Umar Abdul Manaf broke the deadlock for the home side.
Stephen Badu tried to dribble past the goalkeeper, but his leg was held and a penalty was given to Real Tamale United. Issah Kuka stepped up and scored to make it 2-0.
Bibiani Gold Stars pulled one back after the break through Abednego Tetteh.
Issah Kuka made it 3-1 and 4-1 in the 60th minute and 62nd minutes. Stephen Badu Dankwa added the 5th goal for the home side.
RTU is 11th minute on the league table with 35 points and Gold Stars is 6th with 38 points.
Real Tamale United will play Kotoku Royals in their next game while Gold Stars will take on Berekum Chelsea.
