Bibiani GoldStars suffered their second home defeat of the season to Berekum Chelsea at Dun's Park on Sunday afternoon in Matchweek 27 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League (GPL).
It is now back-to-back defeats for the home side after they were hammered 5-1 by Real Tamale United last weekend.
The late goal in the 1-0 win is also Bibiani GoldStars' second this season after winning by a goal to nil at King Faisal in Matchweek 18.
The win takes Berekum Chelsea to the sixth position from eighth while Bibiani GoldStars slipped down to eighth.
Prince Anane scored the only goal of the game in the 90th minute when the game looked to be heading for a draw.
It is a shock win for Berekum Chelsea considering the fact that Bibiani GoldStars rarely lose at home.
GoldStars will now play as guests against Aduana FC on Thursday in Matchweek 27, while Berekum Chelsea will host bottom club Kotoku Royals a day earlier.
