Legon Cities recorded their third consecutive victory in the Ghana Premier League with after beating Accra Lions in the week 28 fixture.
The Royals made their home advantage count after inflicting a 2-0 win over Accra Lions on Wednesday at the El-Wak stadium.
Legon Cities opened the scoring through Kofi Kordzi in the 35th minute mark and went to recess with a goal advantage.
After the break, Maxwell Konadu’s outfit proved their worth and added the second goal of the match to seal victory over Accra Lions.
Ebenezer Armegah registered his name on the scoresheet in the 46th minute to propel Legon Cities to victory.
Accra Lions have been in dismal form, winning just one in their last five games in the Ghanaian top-flight.
The win sends Legon Cities to the 10th position with 37 points whiles Accra Lions drops to 7th spot with 41 points after 28 matches into the campaign.
