Published on: 28 April 2023

Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak will welcome King Faisal to the Accra Sports Stadium in week 29 on Saturday.

The Phobians will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways after humiliating defeat to Tamale City in mid-week. Hamza Mohammed’s outfit inflicted a 4-1 win over Hearts of Oak.

The former champions have suffered a back-to-back defeat in the domestic top-flight, however, they will be eyeing a win against the Isha Allah boys.

Hearts of Oak have recorded two wins, two defeats and one draw in their last five matches, but come up against King Faisal who are keen to survive relegation at the end of the season.

Just like Hearts of Oak, King Faisal have failed to record a win in their last two matches but are better off with one draw.

The Kumasi-based club have two wins, two draws and one defeat in their last five matches.

King Faisal will approach the game with all seriousness as the fight against relegation continues.

Despite being out of the drop at the moment, Ignatius Osei Fosu’s side will be seeking for a win to push them further on the league table. King Faisal are 12th on the league standings with 36 points.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak who have dropped from the top four after two straight defeats will also yearn for the three maximum points at stake.

Clement Kwame Nkuah has been appointed to officiate the much-anticipated encounter.
