2022/23 Ghana Premier League Week 3: Match Report – Kotoku Royals 0-0 Nsoatreman

The Ghana Premier League matchday 3 game involving newcomers in the top flight Kotoku Royals and Nsoatreman ended goalless on Sunday afternoon.

The visitor's started very strongly in the cagey encounter, passing very nicely in midfield and making their way into the box of their opponent.

Stephen Diyuo dribbled pass two players, but was brought down by an opponent player in the 3rd minute.

The free kick awarded by the referee was taken quickly and it was save ld by the goalkeeper after a deflection.

After halftime Nsoatreman made some changes Samed Mohammed and Fredrick Boateng came on for Faycal Traore and Baba Mahama.

Kotoku Royals got into the game and they had a free kick which they squandered in the 50th minute.

The host made changes to their staring XI, Selorm Klutse came on to replace Richard Dzikoe.

The Royals was awarded a penalty in the 74th minute. The kick was saved by Nsoatreman goalkeeper Yaw Owusu Ansah.

Both teams battled hard to break the deadlock but their attacks couldn't shake the net.

Kotoku Royals is 9th with four points on the Ghana Premier League table while Nsoatreman is 8th with 4 points.

Nsoatreman goalkeeper, Yaw Owusu Ansah was adjudged man of the match against Kotoku Royals Rush FC at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium today for making 4 saves, including a penalty.

Kotoku Royals will take on Bechem United in their next game while Nsoatreman will face Karela United.
