Real Tamale United rallied from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory against Bechem United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday in matchweek 32 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
With this win, the Northern Blues climbed to 12th place on the league table, two spots higher than their 14th position at the start of the day.
Bechem United maintained their 3rd position on the table with 51 points.
Hafiz Wontah Konkoni opened the scoring for the Hunters in the 12th minute, notching his 15th goal in 23 appearances.
Bechem United carried the advantage into halftime thanks to Konkoni's goal.
The game seemed to be heading for a victory for the visitors, but the home side orchestrated a late comeback with two goals in stoppage time.
In the third minute of added time, Mohammed Sadat equalized for Real Tamale United, sparking the comeback.
Dankwa Stephen Badu then completed the turnaround, scoring the winning goal from a penalty in the 9th minute of additional time.
