Ghana assistant coach Mas-Ud Dramani has heaped praise on the Black Galaxies following their impressive 2-0 win over Nigeria in the 1st leg of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) Algeria 2022 final round qualifier on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak pair Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Seidu Suraj got on target in the second half after both sides went into the break without a goal at the Cape Coast stadium.

The second leg of this tie comes off on Saturday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

"So far the team has carried itself very well. I was in Cape Coast to watch the team against Benin and I had talks with the coaches. We had good interactions before, during, and after the game," Dramani told Asempa FM.

“After the game against Nigeria, I also had interactions with them. We are following trends and I know George [Boateng] is also watching. Progressively, it has been good so far.

He added, "To win 2-0 against almighty Nigeria is a big plus. Let’s continue to give them out support. It shows the strength of our local league which is good. So we are following keenly."
