2022 FIFA WC: Ghana opponent South Korea gears up to test strength with friendly against Brazil

Ghana’s opponent at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, South Korea is planning a friendly match with Brazil before proceeding to play the tournament in Qatar later this year.

On April 1, 2022, when the draw for this year’s mundial was held in Qatar, the Black Stars were drawn in Group H.

In the group, the African side will face Portugal, Uruguay, as well as South Korea.

As part of preparations, the various national teams are scheduled to engage in a number of friendly matches in the coming months.

According to information gathered, football officials in South Korea are in talks with their counterparts in Brazil to play a friendly match before the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The friendly is scheduled to be played in June, a period where Ghana is likely to also play a couple of warm-up games.

At this year’s world cup, Ghana will open its campaign against Portugal in the first match. The Black Stars will later play Uruguay before finishing off with South Korea.
