2022 World Cup: Ghana coach Otto Addo to release provisional squad on Friday

Ghana coach, Otto Addo is expected to announce his provisional squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in November later this year.

The four-time African champions secured a place in the Mundial at the expense of Nigeria in a two-legged tie.

Having accessed the played in the September friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua, Addo will name his provisional squad for their final preparatory game against Switzerland next month before flying to Qatar.

According to media reports, the Borussia Dortmund gaffer will name his squad on Friday.

Otto Addo and his technical team are expected to parade a strong squad for the global showpiece which kick off from November 20 to December 18.

Having exited at the group phase in the last edition participated in Brazil, the Black Stars will hope to improve their performance as they hope to secure qualification for the next round of games.

Ghana, who have been housed in Group H will open their campaign against Portugal on November 24 at Stadium 974 in Doha.

Four days later, the Black Stars return to action with a clash with South Korea at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan.

Ghana will wrap up their group stage adventure with their much-anticipated encounter with Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.
