Medeama SC are scheduled to hold their first training session on Thursday evening in preparation for their 2023/24 CAF Champions League group stage debut against Al Ahly this Saturday.
Having arrived in Cairo on Wednesday night, the Yellow and Mauves will engage in two training sessions leading up to the crucial match.
Patrick Akoto, the Public Relations Officer, spoke to Asempa FM upon their arrival, expressing satisfaction with the warm reception from the record African champions.
He mentioned that the team has no complaints about their experience so far.
“The team was very comfortable because of how Al Ahly received us right from the airport to the hotel.
“Our first training session will take place at 8 p.m. Cairo time. That is 6 pm Ghana time. So far, everything is going well. There are no complaints; there are no issues as far as our arrival is concerned.”
The game will kick off at 7 p.m. at the Al Salam Stadium on Saturday.
