2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Week 1 Match Preview - Nsoatreman FC vs Bechem United

The 2023-24 Ghana Premier League campaign will get underway this weekend with Nsoatreman FC expected to take on Bechem United on Sunday at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.

Eighteen clubs will battle it out for the covetous trophy. The new season promises to be a thrilling one as participating clubs aim to make meaningful impact.

The Nsoatre-based club maintained their status in the Ghanaian top-flight after finishing 13th in their maiden campaign.

Maxwell Konadu, a former Asante Kotoko will lead Nsoatreman FC after joining the club at the end of last season.

With vast experience in the coaching field, Konadu is expected to steer the club to the top. He also aims to begin his reign as Nsoatreman FC head coach with a perfect start on Sunday.

Nsoatreman FC are in their second season in the domestic top-flight and are aiming to begin the new season well.

Maxwell Konadu’s led technical team have made some important addition to their squad in a bid to perform well. Manaf Umar who joined the club from RTU will be key for Nsoatreman FC in this campaign.

Meanwhile, Bechem united, who finished third last season are leaving no stone unturned as seek for a perfect to the season.

The Hunters go into the match with their outstanding coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle after departing to join Nations FC.

Bechem United became a force to reckon with under Mingle following a consistent in the Ghana Premier League. Again, the club is without influential captain Kofi Agbesimah and attacker Hafiz Konkoni.

New trainer Bismark Kobi Mensah recently disclosed his side will be Premier League title contender considering the squad depth. He will count on returnee and club legend Augustine Okrah to make a huge impact in the season.
