Accra Lions got back to winning ways in their match week ten game against Karela United on Friday afternoon.
Before the encounter 15th place Accra Lions had drawn two games, won one, and lost two in five games. 16th place Karela United had drawn four, and lost one in five games.
Accra Lions controlled the game in the early stages. Accra Lions striker Yahaya Mohammed opened the scoring with a header in the 2nd minute.
The home side continued to dominate play in the thrilling encounter which was played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Bernard Kesse's effort was saved in the 30th minute after Remember Boateng's cross was knocked down by Yahaya Mohammed.

Karela United equalized in the 91st minute through Atta Kumi.
Ali Mohammed scored the winning goal in the 93rd minute to give Accra Lions the victory.
Accra Lions will take on Accra Hearts of Oak in their next league game. Karela United will play Aduana Stars at home.
