Ghana Premier League leaders FC Samartex will look to consolidate their gains in the first round when they play away at the side just below them, Aduana FC.
The game is on Monday, February 26, at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Stadium in Dormaa Ahenkro. Ahead of the game, Samartex are just two points ahead of Aduana.
Aduana FC’s form in their previous six games is a mixed one; they have won three games and also lost three times.
It is the opposite for Samartex, who are having their best season yet in the Ghana Premier League, winning five of their last six games and losing just one.
However, Samartex’s away form doesn’t look great. They have won twice, drawn once, and lost three in their last six games on the road.
After this game, Samartex could be three points clear at the top or could be knocked off it. Nurudeen Amadu’s charges would have to do it the hard way in Dormaa if they are to get a positive result.
