2023/24 Ghana Premier League Week 2 – Match Preview – Bechem United v Dreams FC

Published on: 22 September 2023

Bechem United will welcome Dreams FC to the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday in the week 2 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Hunters are aiming for their first win of the season following defeat in the opening day fixture against Nsoatreman FC at the Nana Koramansah Park.

Bechem United have their eyes set on the maximum points when they come face to face with Dreams FC, who picked victory in their opening game against Nations FC last Wednesday.

It appears the departure of coach Kasim Mingle and other top players including Hafiz Konkoni and Kofi Agbesimah has affected the team.

But Bismark Kobi Mensah is poised to fill the void left by Mingle and will be seeking for his first win of the season on home turf on Sunday. Getting the three points will be key for the new trainer.

Bechem United will hope to write a different at their own background against the CAF Confederations Cup campaigners.

Dreams FC, on the other hand, will not be an easy nut to crack considering their performance in recent times. The Still Believe lads started the season with a win on home turf and will be aiming for a good result at away.

The FA Cup winners will use their game against Bechem United to prepare for their crucial away game against Kallon FC in the Confederations Cup.

It promises to be an exciting fixture on Sunday as both teams will be aiming for the maximum points at stake.
