Bibiani Gold StarsTalented attacker Alex Aso scored the only goal for Gold Stars on Sunday afternoon to give the team a narrow win over Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League.
The forward started for his team in Bibiani today in their Week 27 encounter of the 2023/24 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
Both teams had moments in a game that promised so much but wasted several opportunities.
Late in the first half, Alex Aso was presented with a good chance and made it count by finding the back of the net with his strike to give Gold Stars the lead.
Although Aduana Stars would dominate the second half, the team could not get the breakthrough and had to succumb to a 1-0 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.
The result takes Gold Stars to 8th on the Ghana Premier League table while Aduana Stars stay 3rd on the log.
