Portugese-based Ghana midfielder, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been left out of the Black Stars squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers.

Newly appointed Ghana coach, Chris Hughton has announced his squad for the doubleheader in the matchday 3 and 4 games.

Ghana will host Palancras at the Baba Yara Stadium on March 23 before travelling to Luanda for the return game in four days' time.

However, Issahaku who made an appearance at the World Cup in Qatar has been dropped from the squad.

The Sporting Lisbon forward has struggled for game time. He however featured in the youth team and scored a hattrick in the UEFA Youth League against Ajax.
