2023 CHAN Qualifiers: Black Galaxies to leave for Nigeria today

The Black Galaxies of Ghana will leave the shores of the country for Nigeria for their final round of qualifiers for the 2023 African Nations Championship [CHAN] qualifiers.

Ghana after recording a 4-0 aggregate win against Benin, the West African country were paired with their rivals in the final round of games.

In the first leg at the Cape Coast Stadium, the Black Galaxies recorded an impressive 2-0 win over the Super Eagles B.

The Black Galaxies will be hosted at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Saturday.

However having intensified their training, the team will leave for Nigeria later today and will hold a final training later tonight at the Moshood Abiola Stadium ahead of the game.

The technical team led by Annor Walker with assistance from Prosper Nartey Ogum and Bismark Kobby Mensah will lead the playing body as they seek to book a qualification for the CHAN tournament.

The much-anticipated game is scheduled to kick off at 15:00GMT.

Ghana have failed to make it to the tournament in the last three editions.

The 2023 CHAN tournament is scheduled to be hosted in Algeria.
