Aaron Ramsey has taken to social media to share his delight at returning to training at Arsenal. The midfielder comes back after injuring his hamstring in the Gunners' 4-3 loss at home to Liverpool on the opening weekend of the season, which remains their only defeat in all competitions.

Ramsey had been expected back earlier, but was pulled from Wales' World Cup qualifying squad after failing to meet fitness standards.

However, he has now rejoined Arsenal's training exercises before the North Londoners take on Reading in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night. The 25-year-old has been pictured at the Gunners' training ground, and has tweeted his happiness at returning.

Ramsey will soon be back on the pitch withan Arsenal squad that has enjoyed a superb start to the Premier League season. The North London club have picked up twenty points from nine games, including a run of six successive victories before being held 0-0 at home to bottom-half side Middlesbrough.

Arsenal are in search of a first league title since 2004, which required an invincible season to be accomplished. Despite the six consecutive league wins, fierce rivals Tottenham are only one point behind them. With the North London derby approaching, Ramsey may be a key part of gaining the bragging rights at the Emirates.
