Aduana Stars coach Paa Kwesi Fabin was left to rue missed chances following his outfit stalemate against Karela United.

The Ogya boys were held to a pulsating goalless draw by Karela United at the Nana Agyemang Park on Monday in week 30 of the domestic top-flight.

The two-time league winners blew the chance to extend their lead at the top of the league standings when they clashed with the Pride of the West.

“Look at the numerous chances in the first half, we could have finished the game in the first half but we messed up and that is football for you”

“Everyday we come here and work on scoring and yet I don’t know. We are still on top of the table, so we are still fighting. We will keep working on it and see what happens”

Asked if Aduana Stars will win the league, he said, “Sure, we shall win the league”

Aduana Stars lead at the top has been reduced to just two points with Medeama in hot pursuit.

Their next league game is a trip to the capital to face Accra Lions.
