Aduana Stars tactician Yaw Acheampong has opened up on the club’s Ghana Premier League title challenge in the ongoing campaign.

The Ogya boys are currently third on the domestic top-flight standings with 36 points after 22 matches so far.

Last Sunday, the two-time league winners prevailed with a 2-1 win over Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park, courtesy Bright Adjei and Richard Mahama’s goals.

Aduana have been inconsistent since the resumption of the league, winning three and drawing two in the process.

Speaking after his sides triumph over Kotoko, Yaw Acheampong was tight-lipped about his sides chances of winning the league title.

Asked if Aduana Stars are winning the league, he responded, “When we reach the bridge, we will cross it”

Aduana Stars will travel to face Great Olympics in matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The fire boys will be hoping to bounce to winning ways after defeat against Medeama in an outstanding game on Thursday morning.
