Aduana Stars defeat wake up for Hearts of Oak - Ex-Hoffenheim striker Prince Tagoe

Former Ghana and Hoffenheim forward Prince Tagoe says Hearts of Oak defeat to Leeds should be a "wake-up call" ahead of the match week two of the Ghana Premier League.

The Ogya Boys maintained their unbeaten run against Hearts last Sunday as they beat them 1-0 at Dormaa.

Aduana Stars went into the game with a four-match unbeaten run against the Phobians in their last four meetings and made a huge statement to end their 12-match winless run.

Skipper Bright Adjei smashed home from close range to give the Ogya lads all three points.

"I'm happy Hearts of Oak lost to Aduana (Stars). I believe it will wake them up in subsequent games," Tagoe told Angel TV.

Hearts of Oak will take on Great Olympics in the Mantse derby on Sunday at the Accra Sports stadium.
