AFCON 2017: Avram Grant names familiar starting eleven for Uganda opener

Ghana coach Avram Grant has named a familiar but strong starting eleven for Ghana's Group D opener against Uganda on Tuesday.

Goalkeeper Razak Brimah will start in post with the usual back four of Harrison Afull on the right with Baba Rahman on the left. John Boye will partner Daniel Amartey in central defence.

In midfield, Thomas Partey who plays his club football with Atletico Madrid will partner Mubarak Wakaso.

In attack will be Christian Atsu on the right and Andre Ayew on the left with Jordan Ayew and skipper Asamoah Gyan upfront.

The match which will be played at the Stade de Port Gentil will kick off 5pm local time.
