The Black Stars will play their first trial game today in Dubai as they prepare for this month's Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
Coach Avram Grant and his team have been camping in the United Arab Emirates ahead of that assignment.
This afternoon at the Sevens Stadium in Dubai, the team will play their first trial game against Uzbekistan giants Bunyodkor.
Chairman of the team's management committee George Afriyie has been on the importance of playing.
It is very important to play games like this going into a major tournament such as the Africa Cup of Nations," he said
"We would have loved to play some countries but this is what we have and we must do with this."
The team will leave Dubai for Gabon on January 13 for the tournament.
