Ghanaian international Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has shared his delight to getting the opportunity to share the dressing room with great players such as Stephen Appiah, Michael Essien, and Sulley Muntari.

The 29-year-old started off his professional career with Berekum Chelsea before getting the chance to play for the Ghana U-20 team at the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Following an outstanding display which helped the West African country to emerge as the champions, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu was later promoted to the senior national team and was part of the Black Stars team at the 2010 FIFA World Cup as well as subsequent Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments.

There he shared the dressing room with legendary Ghanaian players including Stephen Appiah, Michael Essien, as well as Sulley Muntari.

Speaking to mondoudinese.it in an Instagram chat, the Udinese midfielder has shared that he was lucky to play alongside the aforementioned players.

“Yes, it's a religion, like in Italy. In countries like Cameroon, Egypt or Ghana football is very important. I was lucky enough to play many games in the national team, also winning an Under-20 World Cup. Then I shared the dressing room with great players such as Appiah, Essien, and Muntari", he said.
