Ajax manager, Erik Ten Hag has hinted on offering a new role to Ghana midfielder, Mohammed Kudus.
Kudus has managed to make a big impression as an attacking midfielder during their preseason friendlies.
With Nicolás Tagliafico set to leave, Ten Hag revealed that Kudus will be offer a new role should the Argentine leave the club this summer.
"The backs are now game distributors, Mohammed Kudus would be able to handle that role," said Ten Hag.
The 20 year old joined the Dutch champions from Danish side, FC Nordsjælland.
He scored in their preseason friendly against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Ajax will play Sparta in the Eredivsie opening game on Sunday.
