Ducan joined the Nerazzurri in 2011 at age 18 before moving on to play Livorno. He later joined Sampdoria before moving to Sassuolo and now Fiorentina.

He made only three appearances during his two-year stay at Inter but has praised the club for helping him gain the necessary experience and mature as a player.

"Inter was something unexpected but beautiful, a very important club, at the top in Italy and Europe, I was able to train with formidable players, an experience that gave me and allowed me to grow a lot," he told Calciomercato.com.

The Ghanaian midfielder also disclosed learning from idols Xabi Alonso, Thiago Motta and Guti.

"Before I arrived in Italy, I used to watch Xabi Alonso, but Guti was the player I liked the most given his incredible quality with his feet," he added.

"When I arrived in Italy, I had the opportunity to train with Thiago Motta who played exemplary football in his role."
