Alfred Duncan joins Fiorentina from Sassuolo on permanent deal

Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan has left Sassuolo to join Fiorentina on a permanent basis in the on-going summer transfer window.

The 27-year-old penned a deal with the club after successful negotiations.

Duncan spent most of last season on loan with the Serie A side, making 13 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.

He joined Sassuolo from Sampdoria in 2015.

He went on to make 130 appearances, scored eight and provided 18 assists.

The midfielder has previously played for Inter Milan, Tuscany and AS Livorno.

He has made nine appearances for the Black Stars and scored one goal.
