Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan played full throttle as his Sassuolo side were hammered 3-1 by Juventus on Saturday evening at the Juventus Stadium.

Duncan testament to his importance to the Sassuolo team was the only non-Italian to feature for the visitors during the clash.

Duncan made 26 passes, two crosses, one tackle and won 11 duels during the tie as well as committing two fouls.

However, he was unable to prevent his side from suffering their second loss in the three-week old Serie A campaign. All four goals in the clash were scored in the first 33 minutes of the game.

Gonzalo Higuain scored twice in the fourth and 10th minute while Miralem Pjanic added another for Juventus before Luca Antei grabbed a consolation for Sassuolo in he 33rd minute.

Duncan was the only Ghanaian to feature in the match as his teammate Claud Adjapong and compatriot Kwadwo Asamoah of Juventus were unused substitutes.
