Italian-born Ghanaian striker Alfredo Agyeman provided an assist in Kelty Hearts FC's 2-1 defeat to Montrose on Saturday afternoon in Scotland.

Kelty Hearts FC scored very early in the first minute of the game. Jamie Barjonas right footed shot from the left side of the box landed in the bottom right corner of the net after receiving a pass from Alfredo Agyeman.

Michael Tidser won a free kick in the defensive half in the second minute as Kelty Hearts FC continued to dominate the game in the early stages.

Nathan Austin left footed shot from outside the box was saved in the top centre of the goal by Montrose goalkeeper Ross Matthews.

After the break, Montrose made two changes to try and get back into the game. Adam Mackinnon and Michael Gardyne came on to replace Craig Brown and Paul Watson.

Rory McAllister failed to capitalise on a great opportunity from the penalty spot to get Montrose an equalizer.

Michael Gardyne and Matheus Machado scored for Montrose in the 81st minute and 86th minute respectively.

Alfredo Agyeman played full throttle against Montrose.
