Belgian side Anderlecht are aiming to sell teenage sensation Jeremy Doku in the near future for more than 25 million euros, footballghana.com can exclusively report.
The 18 year old has been sensational for the club this season, showing mesmerizing dribbling ability. He has attracted the attention of major European clubs including Liverpool and Real Madrid.
Footballghana.com understands that Liverpool negotiated with the player in 2017 when the Premier League side sent Lazar Markovic on loan to Anderlecht.
It was expected that he will wear the color of the Reds that season for a much lower fee but some factors came into play, including the efforts of Belgian businessman Marc Coucke to keep him at the club.
At the moment, interest for the winger is high and Anderlecht aims to earn more money from his sale than they did from Youri Tielemans. Tielemans was sold to Monaco for 25 million euros in 2017.
Doku has made 21 appearances for the Jupiler Pro League side this season, scoring three goals and assisting three.
